Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the services, website, APIs, web tools, and applications provided by lnk24co Inc. ("lnk24co," "we," "us," or "our"), collectively referred to as the "Services." This AUP is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings assigned to them in the Terms of Service.

1. Purpose

This AUP defines acceptable and unacceptable use of the Services. Its purpose is to ensure that the Services are used responsibly, ethically, and in compliance with applicable laws. We are committed to maintaining a safe, trustworthy, and reliable platform for all users.

All users of our Services, including free and paid subscribers, API consumers, web tool users, and team members, are required to comply with this AUP. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services, and any use by persons you authorize to access the Services through your account, complies with this policy.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not use the Services to create, store, transmit, or link to any of the following types of content:

  • Malware and Harmful Software: Content that contains, distributes, or links to viruses, ransomware, spyware, trojans, exploit kits, rootkits, or any other malicious code designed to harm, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
  • Phishing and Credential Harvesting: Content that impersonates or mimics legitimate websites, organizations, or individuals for the purpose of deceiving users, harvesting credentials, or stealing personal information.
  • Spam: Unsolicited bulk messages, including email spam, SMS spam, social media spam, or any content distributed in bulk without recipient consent.
  • Illegal Content: Content that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law, including content facilitating drug trafficking, weapons sales, human trafficking, or violations of export controls and sanctions.
  • Hate Speech: Content that promotes violence, hatred, discrimination, or harassment against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Child Exploitation: Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers minors. We report all such content to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and appropriate law enforcement.
  • Copyright Infringement: Content that infringes on the copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights of others, including pirated software, media, or other copyrighted material distributed without authorization. See our DMCA Policy for takedown procedures.
  • Defamation: Content that contains false statements of fact that harm the reputation of individuals, businesses, or organizations.
  • Fraud: Content designed to facilitate financial fraud, pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, or any other deceptive business practices.
  • Impersonation: Content that falsely represents identity or affiliation with any person, business, or organization, including lnk24co itself.

3. Prohibited Activities

You may not engage in any of the following activities in connection with the Services:

  • Circumventing Security: Attempting to bypass, disable, or circumvent any security features, authentication mechanisms, access controls, rate limits, or account restrictions of the Services.
  • Reverse Engineering: Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to derive the source code, algorithms, or underlying architecture of any part of the Services.
  • Denial of Service: Conducting or facilitating denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks against the Services or any third-party infrastructure.
  • Excessive API Usage: Exceeding documented API rate limits, making excessive requests that degrade service performance, or using the API in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose.
  • Scraping: Automated scraping, crawling, or data extraction from the Services beyond what is explicitly permitted by our API documentation and terms.
  • Automated Bulk Operations: Performing automated bulk operations, including mass link creation, mass account registration, or automated content submission, without prior written permission from lnk24co.
  • Reselling Without Authorization: Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing the Services or access to the Services without prior written authorization from lnk24co.
  • Account Abuse: Creating multiple accounts to evade enforcement actions, circumvent plan limitations, or manipulate platform features.

4. Link-Specific Rules

Given the nature of our link management Services, the following link-specific rules apply:

  • No Malicious Link Cloaking: You may not use the Services to cloak, disguise, or obscure links for malicious purposes, including hiding the true destination of a link to deceive users or circumvent security filters.
  • No Harmful Redirect Chains: You may not create redirect chains through the Services that ultimately lead to harmful, illegal, or prohibited content, regardless of the number of intermediate redirects.
  • No Deceptive Shortened URLs: You may not use shortened URLs to misrepresent the nature, content, or safety of the destination page. The use of custom slugs or vanity URLs to mislead users about the link destination is prohibited.
  • No Link Farms: You may not create links for the purpose of operating link farms, artificial traffic generation, click fraud, or search engine manipulation.

5. Web Tools

lnk24co provides free web-based tools that are subject to this AUP. The following additional rules apply to web tools usage:

  • You may not use web tools to process, generate, or manipulate content that is illegal under applicable law.
  • You may not engage in automated abuse of web tools, including scripted or bot-driven usage designed to overwhelm or degrade the tools, extract data at scale, or circumvent usage limitations.
  • Web tools are provided for individual, good-faith use. Commercial use at scale requires a paid plan or prior written authorization.

6. API Abuse

The following rules apply specifically to use of the lnk24co API:

  • Rate Limit Compliance: You must comply with all documented API rate limits. Deliberately exceeding rate limits or implementing workarounds to circumvent them is prohibited.
  • No Credential Sharing: API keys and authentication tokens are issued to individual accounts and may not be shared, published, or transferred to unauthorized parties. You are responsible for securing your API credentials.
  • No Unauthorized Access: You may not use the API to access data, accounts, or functionality that you are not authorized to access. Attempting to exploit API endpoints, parameters, or responses to gain unauthorized access is strictly prohibited.
  • Responsible Use: API usage must be consistent with the documentation and intended use cases. Using the API in ways that negatively impact service availability for other users is prohibited.

7. Monitoring and Enforcement

lnk24co reserves the right, but is under no obligation, to monitor use of the Services for compliance with this AUP. We may:

  • Use automated systems, machine learning, third-party services, and manual review to detect potential violations.
  • Investigate suspected violations and take any action we deem appropriate, including accessing and reviewing content and account data as necessary.
  • Suspend or terminate access to the Services, disable links, or remove content that violates this AUP, with or without prior notice.
  • Report suspected illegal activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities, including sharing relevant account information and content as required or permitted by law.

lnk24co is under no obligation to monitor the Services or user content and shall not be liable for any failure to detect or prevent violations of this AUP.

8. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any use of our Services that violates this AUP, please report it to us immediately. We take all reports seriously and investigate promptly. You can report violations through the following channels:

When reporting a violation, please provide as much detail as possible, including the specific link URL(s), the nature of the violation, and any supporting evidence. Reports are handled confidentially, and we will not disclose the identity of reporters except as required by law.

9. Consequences

Violations of this AUP may result in any or all of the following actions, at our sole discretion:

  • Warning: Issuance of a written warning for minor or first-time violations, with a request to remedy the violation within a specified period.
  • Suspension: Temporary suspension of your account, API access, or specific links pending investigation or remediation.
  • Termination: Permanent termination of your account and all associated data for severe or repeated violations. Termination may be immediate and without prior notice for egregious violations (such as CSAM, malware distribution, or phishing).
  • Legal Action:Pursuit of legal remedies, including injunctive relief, damages, and recovery of attorneys' fees and costs.
  • Reporting to Authorities: Reporting of violations to appropriate law enforcement, regulatory bodies, or industry organizations, including sharing account data and content as required or permitted by law.

Enforcement actions are not mutually exclusive and may be combined. Refunds will not be provided for accounts terminated due to AUP violations.

10. Disclaimer

lnk24co is not responsible or liable for any content created, stored, transmitted, or linked to by users of the Services. Users bear sole responsibility for all content they create, share, or link to through the Services, including ensuring that such content complies with this AUP and all applicable laws.

lnk24co acts as a neutral platform provider and does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, legality, or safety of user-generated content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, lnk24co disclaims all liability arising from or related to user content, including any claims by third parties.

11. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this AUP at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice through email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised AUP.
